On Oct. 1, The Logan County Beautification Committee honored Fathers of Mercy as our October winner! Fathers of Mercy is located at 806 Shaker Museum Road, Auburn. President of the Logan Beautification Committee Keith Batchelor presented Father Wade with a certificate in recognition of all their hard work and a $25 gift card, compliments of Farmer's Hardware in Russellville.

In the last 12 months, the Fathers of Mercy have officially completed two major projects. A new Flagpole has been installed and a new workshop has been built to replace two smaller buildings that dated back to the 1940's. The new "St. Joseph Workshop" features a lawn, garden, wood working, auto, general mechanics, welding, and oxy acetylene areas for Fathers of Mercy members to work on various projects.

The Fathers of Mercy purchased the property in 1987 and have completed various projects and improvements over the years. Most notable is Chapel of Devine Mercy, which is open to the public.

The mission of the Logan County Beautification Committee is to enhance the visual beauty of Logan County, preserve its historical values, and promote our community for the common good of our residents and businesses. The committee is looking to award qualifying residential, commercial or entrance at least once a month.
