We are getting ready for another spectacular Purple Martin Festival, but we need your participation! Here are some events that have deadlines that we want to make you aware of.
Lewisburg Purple Martin 5K
This year’s 5K will take place on Saturday, June 14 at Mt. Pleasant Church on Stacker Street. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the race beginning at 8. Awards will be given to the top male and top female in each age group. All ages are encouraged to participate.
Early registration ends MAY 30, withthe cost $15. After May 30, the cost will be $20.

Purple Martin Vendor Fair
This year’s fair will be held June 13 & 14 in McKinney Park. There is a $25 setup fee, of which $15 will be refunded once you setup. Applications can be picked up at Lewisburg City Hall, Logan County Chamber of Commerce and Lewisburg Bank in Lewisburg or by calling 270-847-1941. The deadline to have your applications and fee in is MAY 31. Please make checks payable to Lewisburg Lions Club.
Purple Martin Little Mr. & Miss Pageant
The pageant will be held June 9 at6 p.m. at the Lewisburg City Complex. Categories for Boys & Girls ages birth-24 months. Girls, ages 2-8th Grade. Forms can be picked up at the following: Lewisburg City Hall, Lewisburg Elementary School, Lewisburg Banking Co. (Lewisburg & Russellville), Logan County Chamber of Commerce.
