The ballots are in and the results are here. The Logan County FFA and Freeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are number one in the nation and blew the competition out of the water with an outstanding 439 test drives at the Ram Test Drive Event back in April; collectively raising a total of $8,780 for the Logan County FFA.
In April, Ram worked with local dealers and FFA chapters by donating $20 for every test drive to the FFA. The Logan County FFA provided free lunches for everyone that came out to test drive that day.
“I’d like to say we’re shocked,” said Nick Rice, general manager at Freeland Ram, “but it’s hard to be shocked when we had the community and FFA students show up in the numbers they did.”
Rice tells us the second highest dealership for test drives had fewer than 200 test drives. “We crushed it! Ram keeps asking why we were so successful and I just keep saying it’s the community, it’s Logan County. We couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone.”
As the top dealer, Freeland CDJR has raised $8,780 for the Logan County FFA, won a private Easton Corbin concert and earned unconditional bragging rights as the highest performing dealership in the country.
Owner Ben Freeland was ecstatic with the news of the event’s success. “It was a great event, I enjoyed meeting people on test drives and really want to thank everyone for their support. The FFA was one of the hardest working organizations I’ve ever worked with and they deserve every bit of recognition for this success. This was just the start to a long lasting relationship with the FFA.” said Freeland.
“As of now, we’re still waiting on final details from Ram on the private concert with Easton Corbin. We plan to invite our test drivers and FFA volunteers out as a special thanks for their support.”
“Every day, I’m surprised and overwhelmed by the constant support we keep receiving from Russellville and Logan County. I’m so happy to be a part of such an amazing community and can’t say thank you enough,” said Rice.
