The Logan County Marching Cougars had their first competition on Sept. 12 at Franklin-Simpson High School. The title of their show is “A Day at the Derby,” and they are under the direction of David Dayton and Mandy Beasley.
The band came in third place in their 4A Class.

The Logan County Marching Cougars will have two band competitions on Saturday, Sept. 19. They will be performing at Butler County High School at 1:45 p.m., and then they will perform at Russellville High School’s contest at Rhea Stadium at 7:15.
