The RHS Band Boosters are selling items from the old middle school. Some items for sale are old metal school desk from the Russellville
Elementary/Middle School, metal gym baskets from the old swimming pool and 5 x 7 picture frames and 12 inch plaques made from the gym floor.
The picture frame has a picture of the old gym and a plaque “A piece of Time-Old Russellville Gym-1923-2009” and the 12-inch plaque will have the same
black and gold plaque. “This has been a rewarding experience for the boosters and the band students, as they have been part of this project from
taking the floor up without any electricity or heat the week of the January ice storm to making the picture
frames and now the promotion process.
The picture frames and the floor will be excellent holiday gifts. We will
take orders until the wood is depleted. After the inventory of completed
frames and plaques are sold we will take orders and will have delivery in
around four weeks. Payment of check or cash will need to be made when
order is placed. If you live out of town, we will add shipping and handling to your orders. The 5 x 7 picture frames are $25 and the 12-inch plaques
are $12.

There are many people from Logan County and surrounding areas who have fond memories of this gym and the activities from music programs, plays, gym
classes to basketball games and tournaments. The RHS Band Boosters hope they have helped “honor the past” and presented items that many will cherish
for years to come. We appreciate all of the kind words to our organization as we help support the future of the RHS Music Program
