SAR organizational meeting set Jan. 22

The Sons of American Revolution (SAR) would like to announce an upcoming community organizational meeting for men who are interested in finding their ancestor roots linage to a Patriot who fought for American Independence.  

Also looking for men in Logan County and nearby who might be interested in forming a new Col. Benjamin Logan SAR Chapter in Russellville. The meeting will be on Monday, Jan. 22 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Roy's BBQ on the 68-80 By-Pass. Participants may order from the menu and eat during first hour of meeting in the side reserved room. (Dutch Treat)

SAR State Pres.-Elect Geoff Baggett and Col. Stephen Trigg SAR Chapter President Steve Mallory will preside over the informative meeting. They will provide handout information and provide instruction on how you can join the State SAR organization, trace your ancestry and procedures for organizing a new Chapter here in Logan County.

If you have been interested in joining this group of people that dress in military dress or militia clothing and honor the graves and memory of these Patriots from this period of American History, please attend this meeting.
