I want to say thank you to the Kentucky 4-H family for your kind words, encouragement, and financial support over the last few weeks. Much like you, we are doing our best to respond to our ever-changing circumstances and admire how Kentucky 4-H professionals, volunteers, parents, and youth have come together to overcome so many new challenges.

The Kentucky 4-H Foundation, like many of you, is saddened with the news of Kentucky 4-H Camps being cancelled for the summer. And, due to the cancellation, the Kentucky 4-H Camping program will be facing a $500,000 deficit.

It is the Foundation's desire to support Kentucky 4-H as it faces the many challenges brought on by the Covid-19. So, as a way of supporting such a vital 4-H program, we will utilize our upcoming Virtual Emerald Gala Silent Auction to raise funds for the Kentucky 4-H Camping program. It is our hope that we are able to all come together to overcome this deficit or at the very least relieve some of the financial strain from counties.

All proceeds from the May 11 Silent Auction will go directly to the Kentucky 4-H Camping Program and be utilized to meet the most immediate needs.

Please join us in supporting the camping program by registering for the Silent Auction or giving today.
