I hope everyone had a great Christmas break and I hope we ALL have a wonderful New Year!

After lengthy discussions with our principals and board members, we will be returning to school on Jan. 4 in the following format:

*Russellville Primary Academy and Stevenson Elementary will return face to face for all students.  Buses and schedules will remain the same as prior to Thanksgiving break.

*Russellville Middle School and Russellville High School will return in the Hybrid A/B model. Buses and schedules will also remain the same as prior to Thanksgiving break.

Students enrolled in the Virtual Learning Academy will be expected to return to work on Jan. 4.

With that being said, I want to express just how excited I am to be the superintendent of RISD. The very first thing I want to do is visit the schools on Monday morning. I am anxious to see our KIDS return to OUR care. The love and resiliency you ALL have shown during this time is nothing short of amazing!

I am comforted in the fact that OUR KIDS have you in their lives.
