Experience & Knowledge Does Matter!

Serving two terms as your Jailer, I have managed a multi-million-dollar budget that is audited annually by the Kentucky State Auditor. Logan County has over a $22 million-dollar budget. As Logan County Judge Executive, I will apply the same conservative business approach, that proved successful while operating the Jail.

We should take action to improve and secure our community's future for the long term. I envision that Logan County can be a leader in industry and small business. As Logan County Judge Executive, I will bring new and conservative ideas designed to achieve that goal. I want to make Logan County a great place for you, your family and my family too.

I want to prioritize investment and safety in our community. Transparency and accountability will be an important feature. I have the private and public-sector experience to get things done for Logan County.

I have attended a number of training courses taught by the Kentucky Association of Counties (KACO) including managing county records, county budget basics and planning and zoning.

Recently, I attended the 2022 County Budget Workshop held by the Kentucky Department of Local Government. Topics included "State and Federal Grants Available in Kentucky." House Bill 459 was discussed — legislation which includes $200 million dollars in Federal funds to expand broadband. I am very interested in high speed broadband upgrades because internet access connects teachers and students and attracts business and industry to our area.

Experience and knowledge DOES matter. With my experience and background in both public service and private business, I will not let Logan County fall behind.
