On Friday, Sept. 9, Scotty's Contracting & Stone celebrated 50 years in business. Logan County Schools received an invitation to be a part of that celebration. Scotty's wanted all schools and businesses that have worked  with them over the years to come out and enjoy a nice meal and to help celebrate.

Jason Givens and I attended to represent the Logan County School District. Superintendent Paul Mullins was unable to attend because of a recent surgery. During this celebration, Jason and I met up with some ol’ friends that have been such a vital part of Scotty's.

Pictured are Logan County Schools Maintenance Supervisor Jason Givens, Vice President of Asphalt Operations Phillip Kemp, Quality Control Manager Jon Kemp, Logan County Schools District Athletic Director Greg Howard, Scotty’s founder Jim Scott, and Vice President of Construction and Engineering Chris Higgins.

Phillip, Jon, and Chris are a ll graduates of and former athletes at Logan County High School. Scotty is a graduate of Auburn High School.

Very proud to be associated with Scotty's and especially these fine men from Logan County!
