Art by local artists will be on display at the Auburn Museum 433 W. Main St and adjoining property at 443 W. Main St. on March 5, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
This will be the second year the Auburn Historical Society has sponsored “A Day of Art,” which coincides with the Maple Syrup Festival going on at Federal Grove on March 4th through 6th.
This event last year was a great success, where art from the professional to the amateur to the student was on display and enjoyed by all.
This year there will be upwards of 15 local artists with art on display. Also local schools will participate again. Art teachers and their students will have their work in the exhibit.
Some of the art will be for sale.
On display for sale will be the art work of the late Auburn native, Dale Newman. Dale was a prolific artist and taught art in Florida for many years.
Admittance to the exhibit will be $5.00 and includes a tour of the museum and historical village. Tickets may be purchased at the Museum.
