As the weather warms and the seasons change, it's time to think about getting outdoors and outdoor events. With gas prices high and rising, why not travel and attend events closer to home? The 2011 Adairville-South Logan Chamber of Commerce 7th Annual Car & Tractor Show will be part of the Adairville Strawberry Festival events. The show will be Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 1-4 p.m., around the town square of Adairville.

Vendors are welcome. Any vendor types may attend and we specifically seek those who offer items themed around the event such as racing, farming or country themed items. The Car & Tractor Show is held during daylight hours and the official event is three hours long. However, registration begins at 11 a.m. and there is a full day of activities in town that will attract a crowd for the day. The vendor entry fee is only $15 for the day, for a 10'x10' space.
Vendors must supply all materials needed to support their booth. Electricity is available around the town park and set up locations will on the lawn of the town square. Vendors may set up as early as 10 a.m., and there are no entry forms to fill out. Just arrive on the day of the event, check in, pay the vendor fee, set up and have fun. We do ask that if you are interested and plan to attend that you let us know by giving us a call. The Event Committee and Chamber of Commerce reserve the right to refuse participation in the event.
For those who may have an automobile or tractor to enter, the show entry fees are $15 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, from the same owner. Open categories are offered for cars, trucks, tractors, lawn tractors, and motorcycles. 1-2-3 place trophies, determined by the participants themselves, will be awarded in each category. A "People’s Choice" trophy, determined by spectator voting, will be awarded for the best car/truck/motorcycle and tractor/lawn tractor. Raffle chances will be sold for prizes to be awarded throughout the event, with a grand prize of two tickets, with two "All Access" passes, to the NASCAR Nationwide Federated 300 race held at the Nashville Superspeedway, Saturday, July 23. Chances are available for sale now and the day of the show.

Besides the Car & Tractor Show, there will be a pancake breakfast from 6-10:30 a.m., a planned Run/Walk that morning, and a motorcycle "Bike Night" after the Car & Tractor Show. Food, music and more will be available. This will be Day One of week-long events, culminating in our Super Saturday, May 21, which will consist of a full day of festival and carnival activities, including a parade.
