Russellville Downtown Renovations has released drawings and architect’s plan for Hotel Duncan, which is to be built on the corner of Main Street and East Fourth Street across from Carrico Park Square. The drawings were shared publicly on the group’s Facebook page this week.

The site for the hotel is the long-time location of Duncan’s Drug Store, which was operated for decades by the late Morris Duncan and his nephew, the late Wilfred ‘Buddy’ Duncan.

The old building was razed about a year ago, as was one of the former Southern Deposit Bank locations across Fourth Street. Owners of the properties have also purchased the former Perry’s Drug Store building. Located just north of the Duncan’s site, it is expected to be razed to provide room for parking.

The Russellville Downtown Renovations page says, “We are excited to share pictures and floor plans of the soon to be built Hotel Duncan, Duncan’s Corner Sports Bar, and Garden Restaurant.
