The surest sign than Christmas is coming soon to the Land of Logan is the arrival of the Mistletoe Market in early November. The sixth annual Mistletoe Market will be this Saturday at the Logan County Extension Office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to event coordinator Marcia Key, “Vendors will have the latest styles in a wide variety of products, including handmade high fashion jewelry, various embroidered & vinyl items, children’s books & toys,  wooden home décor, goat cheese, dips, soups, bread, aprons, kitchen cookware & utensils, wood burned home décor, ladies boutique fashions & accessories, make up & skin care, holiday décor & wreathes, baby items, home fragrances & candles, hair accessories,  essential oils, health care & diet products, paintings by local artists, Christmas ornaments, purses, totes & bags, handmade jewelry, cleaning products plus much, much more.”

A highlight of the day will be a visit from Santa Claus from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Admission and parking are free, but guests are asked to bring a donation for the Logan County Humane Society, which will sponsor the Mistletoe Café for lunch.

Vendors come from a wide area by invitation only. Many of them have been a part of all or most of the semiannual events put together in Logan County by Key, who operates the popular booth from The Tangled Trunk.
