On Nov. 27, the Logan County High School FFA took 26 students to Western Kentucky University to compete in regional contests in Small Engines, Welding, AIC, Employment Skills, Agriculture Sales, and Junior Parliamentary Procedure.
The Small Engines team consisted of Noah Rust, Carter Spivey, and Price Violette. Their competition required a written test and furnishing their own small engine.
The Welding team consisted of Ethan Robey, Kolton Coomer, Briar Webb, and Alex Walpole. Their competition consisted of their safety, ability, and the three different welds they made.
The AIC (American Institute of Cooperatives) competitor was Lindsey Brinkley, and her competition was a fifty question test over history and current status of cooperatives. The Employment Skills competitor was Ashlyn Tracy, competing in interview abilities and resume skills.
The Agriculture Sales team was responsible for selling an agricultural product. They were scored in team preparation, team questions, and individual sales. The team consisted of Micah Page, Briley Robinson, Hayley Hallman and Caroline Davenport.
Lastly, the Junior Parliamentary Procedure team was Kathrine Woodard as President, Marlee Allen as Vice President, Anna Silvey as Secretary, Clacy White as Treasurer, Addie Corder as Reporter, Courtney Rainwaters as Sentinel, and Alyssa Kennedy as student Advisor.

Small Engines: 3rd Place
Welding: 2nd Place
AIC: 7th Place
Employment Skills: 3rd Place
Agriculture Sales: 1st Place and will advance onto the State FFA Convention
Junior Parliament: 4th Place
