The Kentucky Department for Public Health will begin distributing COVID-19 vaccines to school and district personnel this spring.

Logan County Schools is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to all full-time employees in the district. Substitute teachers, food service staff, transportation staff, coaches, and independent contractors working directly with students are also eligible.

The Kentucky Department of Education is collecting a roster of all eligible school personnel who wish to be vaccinated. Employees must sign up by Dec. 27 to receive a vaccine during the educator distribution period. If you do not wish to be vaccinated, you must wait until the vaccine is available to the general public.
