Logan County Schools have welcomed Nicole C. Clark as the system’s new Supervisor of Instruction. Mrs. Clark comes to us with 22 years of experience in education, spending her tenure in secondary schools.

Clark started her career in Metcalfe County, her alma mater, where she taught freshmen in the English department. She moved to Warren County two years later where she taught freshmen in the English Department at Warren Central and was given her start in administration in 2008. She has served as a Dean of Students, Assistant Principal and Principal at Warren East High School for the majority of her career.

She has most recently worked as a Professional Learning Specialist at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative in Bowling Green.

“We are excited to have Mrs. Clark's experience and expertise as not only an administrator, but also as a curriculum and instructional coach, a building assessment coordinator and a behavior interventionist,” a Facebook announcement from the Central Office says.

Nicole has been married to her husband John for 26 years, and they reside in Bowling Green with their two dogs, Rigby and Ollie, and their two cats, Jem and Scout. They are members at Crossland Community Church, and they love to travel, especially to National Parks.

"I am thrilled to be joining the talented and hard-working faculties and staff in Logan County,” she says. “I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in the community and offering my support in the district's goal of 'Preparing All Learners for Life's Journey!

Clark, who worked with Logan County’s new superintendent, Dr. Dan Costellow, at GRECC, replaces Dr. Josh Matthews in the key role. Matthews resigned this summer to accept the superintendency of the Shelby County Schools.
