The second week of the unique 2024 Logan County Fair begins tonight. Rides and carnival booths will be open on the midway, and several activities—including laser tag, inflatables, and a gaming table—will be available inside the arena.
Plans had been to have a Monster Truck display at the new outdoor arena, but it has to be delayed because weather problems have delayed completion of the 1568-seat venue.
The rides themselves should be worth the $20 per person. Kissle Entertainment, which provides the rides at the Kentucky State Fair, has been set up in Logan County for the first time. The Fair Board believes the rides will be on the highest level.
Wednesday’s features include Faith and Family Night in and around the pavilion, a diaper derby, and the KOTPA Tractor Pull.
Stuff the Bus will provide free admission Wednesday to the first 50 kids to enter the gate.
The gates will open at 5 each evening. Through traffic on John Paul Avenue will not be available during fair hours.
Helicopter rides had been planned again this yeara, but a government agency is not approving them this year.
