State and county announce impassable roads

In the middle of the afternoon Friday, state and county road departments announced roads which have been declared impassable following almost seven inches of rain Wednesday night and Thursday with more heavy downpours forecast this weekend.

The state lists roads by numbers, not names.

These lists do not include city streets.

From Kentucky Transportation’s District 3:

Logan County 

  • KY 3201 – Closed at mile marker 0 to 1.   
  • KY 1153 – Closed at mile marker 3 to 4.   
  • KY 107 – Closed at mile marker 5.   
  • KY 765 – Closed at mile point 2.9.   
  • KY 1151 – Closed at mile point 4.8.   
  • KY 1040 – Closed at mile point 6.2.   
  • KY 722 – Closed at mile point 3. 
  • KY 1588 – Closed at mile points 0 to 1. 
  • KY 1083 – Closed at mile points 9 to 10. 
  • KY 1785 – Closed at mile point 0.5. 
  • KY 1151 – Closed at mile point 4.2.

·         Stevenson Mill does have water over the road in certain areas so use caution.
