The Logan County Chamber of Commerce was honored to host a ribbon cutting on Feb. 10 to welcome and celebrate our new member, the Logan County Honor Guard. Commander Rick McCormick welcomed attendees and shared the story and mission of the organization, followed by a meaningful prayer from Bro. Brad Rogers for the Honor Guard’s purpose and future. Chamber Board Chairman Brian White presented the official certificate and congratulated the organization on their growth and service to our community.

Formed in November 2024, Logan County Honor Guard has already grown significantly and now serves Logan County and surrounding areas. These dedicated veterans volunteer their time to provide military honors at veterans’ funerals—ensuring those who served our country receive the recognition and respect they deserve. Local funeral homes coordinate with the Honor Guard when requested by veteran families, allowing this important tribute to take place.

Their office is located at 223 N. Main Street in Russellville.

“Chamber members are incredibly proud to have the Logan County Honor Guard as a Chamber member and to have this meaningful service available in our community,” says Chamber Executive Director Polly Steenbergen. Please join us in thanking and congratulating the Logan County Honor Guard for their continued service—both past and present.”
