Lewisburg School held its 8th-grade graduation on Friday, May 15. Students marched into the gymnasium, greeted by families, friends, staff, former teachers, Board Member Barry Silvey, and Superintendent Dan Costellow.
Eighth-grade student Willow Taylor started the ceremony with a prayer for the 8th Grade Class.
Principal Grant Warren made opening remarks, thanking families and staff for supporting students along their journey. He introduced groups of students who were wearing Graduation Cords. He had these students stand up to be recognized.

Assistant Principal Kelly Lewis was also introduced and congratulated students on their many achievements.
At this time, two students, Liam Lewis and Lucas Stinson, were invited to the stage to recite the speeches they wrote for their classmates, teachers, staff, and families. Both students provided words of gratitude and encouragement.
Middle school teachers were invited to the podium one at a time to present individual awards. Mrs. Courtney McCormick presented the certificates as each student was recognized.

The Presentation of Certificates was given by Mr. Warren as Mrs. Lewis announced each student. Students walked the Red Carpet with pride.
During the Presentation of Certificates, the students presented Mr. Warren with a token of their gratitude, further demonstrating their character and teamwork.
