Fire Chief Cheryl Allen to run for coroner

Russellville Rural Fire Chief Cheryl Allen has announced that she is a candidate for Logan County Coroner, running as a Democrat. She said on Facebook Monday: “This is something I have thought on for quite some time. I feel I can contribute to our community by being there for the people at their most horrific moments. It kind of goes with what I do anyway being on the fire department and witness to several deaths each year." A long-time employee of Logan Aluminum, Allen will face incumbent coroner Mary Givens, who had previously filed for reelection.

Library closing today, reports on WRUS this a.m.

This is the final day for Logan County Public Library to be open in the West Sixth Street building which has been its home for 47 years. The library will close at 5 p.m. and not reopen until Feb. 3 while staff moves its collections to the new building on Armory Drive. After retired Regional Librarian Evelyn Richardson does her weekly report about the library at 8:25 on 610 WRUS this morning, Librarian King Simpson, outgoing board president Obie Vancleave & incoming president Jennifer Wilcutt will be interviewed by Don Neagle about the move.

Death of Russellville man treated as a homicide

Multiple sources are reporting that the death of Brad Rigney, 36, is being treated as a homicide. His body was found in his Rhea Blvd., Russellville residence Saturday evening by his brother, Tiger Rigney, according to Fox 17 News, which said death was a result of blunt force trauma. Mr. Rigney, who worked at Adairville Elementary School, was hearing impaired and attended Kentucky School for the deaf. His mother, Brenda Rigney, is retired from teaching at Logan County High School. His dad is James Rigney. Fox 17 interviewed Ed Bush, John Upton & Nora LaCayo about their reactions to his death.

Lady Cougars dominate RHS for Classic 3rd

After a sluggish performance in the Thursday’s semifinals, the Logan County Lady Cougars dominated Russellville 69-34 Friday to finish third in the First Southern National Bank Christmas Classic. Coach Finley Woodard’s team scored 15 straight points over a 3-minute span to take a 28-8 lead before freshman Loreal Chaney hit a 3-pointer for RHS. Laura Hunt scored 11 of her 18 points during that spurt, and Logan led 38-17 at the half. Kapreshia Powell was setting up many of the goals with her passing. The lead reached 29 on a 3-point play by Madison Alvis on an assist by Maegann Hardison in the third quarter. A running clock stopped when the lead ballooned to 35 with three minutes remaining. Brooke Barnes with 15 and Katelyn Jones with 10 joined Hunt in double figures as 11 Lady Cougars scored.  Senior Khalia Hampton topped the Lady Panthers with 15 points.

Friday losses set up Lady Clash Saturday

All four teams from the Land of Logan lost in second round action Friday. The two girls' losses set up a Clash of the Lady Cats at LCHS Saturday at 1 p.m. for third place. The closest game Friday found the Logan County Lady Cougars dropping a 37-34 decision to Livingston Central. Laura Hunt had 9 points, Maegann Hardison & Kapreshia Powell 8 each and Katelyn Jones 7 for the Lady Cougars. The Russellville Lady Panthers fell 62-49 to Hopkins County Central. Khalia Hampton scored 19, Shea Hampton 11 & Loreal Chaney 10 for RHS. The Russellville Panthers played University Heights close in the first half, but the powerful Blazers were ahead by 25 after three quarters and won 81-55. Barrett Croslin scored 16, Lee McMurry 10 & Pedro Rivera 8 for the Panthers, who will go against Pickett County for third place at 2 p.m. at RHS. The story of the Cougars' loss is in the News Brief below. Coach Lonnie Mason's team will go against a good Caldwell County team for seventh place at RHS, beginning at 11 a.m. One of Caldwell's players is first team all-state quarterback Elijah Sindelar.

Tennessee team beats Cougars in FSNB

The Logan County Cougars fell 69-56 to Spring Hill, Tenn. Tuesday in their second game of the FSNB Christmas Classic. Ben Wright scored 20 points, Lorenzo Garcia 16 and Clint Knight 14 for the Cougars. Center Taylor Blakemore was injured early in the game. Wright had 8 rebounds and J.R. Morrow 6, but the Cougars were out-rebounded 45-29. The Cougars had trouble shooting, hitting only 4 of 22 field goal attempts in the second half. They hit 17 free throws in the fourth quarter, going 28 of 41 for the game while Springhill went 15 of 28. The Cougars will play Caldwell County for seventh place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Russellville High School. Caldwell lost to RHS Thursday and fell in overtime to Central Hardin Friday.

Panthers, both girls teams win Classic openers

The four teams from the Land of Logan had gone winless in 23 out-of-district games entering the FSNB Christmas Classic Thursday, but they broke out of it in a big way--winning three of four openers. Both girls teams won with Katelyn Jones (23 points) leading the way and Laura Hunt & Brooke Barnes joining her in double figures as the Lady Cougars beat Middlesboro 65-51. Khalia Hampton led the Lady Panthers with 31 points to a 56-51 decision over Trigg County. The Panthers were impressive with Christian Naylor, Barrett Croslin, Lee McMurry & Pedro Rivera all in double figures in a 71-61 win over a much taller Caldwell County team. Things didn't go as well for the Logan County boys, who lost 82-50 to Pickett County, Tenn. Coach Lonnie Mason played only two of his top seven regulars, J.R. Morrow & Garrison Rosser, the last 12 minutes of the game. Morrow was the leader in minutes played and rebounding while tying with Dalton Furlow for points leadership with 10. The Cougars play at 1 p.m. Friday while the other three teams will be involved in night semifinals, beginning at 5:30 at RHS and 6:30 at LCHS.

Local teams start Classic play tonight

The host teams will go into action in their home gyms tonight in the First Southern National Bank Christmas Classic, which has been going on this afternoon. Coach Justin McClellan's Russellville Lady Panthers will play Trigg County at 6. Coach Finley Woodard's Logan County Lady Cougars will take on Middlesboro at 6:30. After the girls games, Coach Phil Todd's Panthers will host Caldwell County and Coach Lonnie Mason's Cougars will take on Pickett County in the nightcap. Portions of all four games will be aired on WRUS, which is a sponsor, as is Roy's Bar-B-Q. In the premier game of the afternoon, the University Heights Blazers edged Central Hardin in a boys game at RHS.

Steve Hadden files to run for sheriff

Former deputy sheriff and Adairville Police Chief Steve Hadden filed his candidacy papers Monday to run for Logan County Sheriff. He will face incumbent Sheriff Wallace Whittaker in the Democratic primary election in May. He says, "I have lived in and loved this county all my life. I want to continue to protect and serve this county in that position the following next four years as I have the last 18 years."

Concerned Citizens of Russellville/Logan County will distribute bleach and DVDs at the KP Hall Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Director Dorris Vick.

Purples beat visiting Panthers 73-44

The Bowling Green Purples defeated the Russellville Panthers 73-44 Tuesday. According to Chris McGinnis of WRUS, 13 players scored for Coach D.G. Sherill's Purples but only six for the Panthers. Barrett Croslin led Coach Phil Todd's Panthers with 13 points while Lee McMurry added 11 and Pedro Rivera 8. Tucker Sine topped BGH with 15 points. Joseph Ayers added 12 and Nacarius Fant 10.

Library to close 34 days for move to new site

Logan County Public Library will be closed 34 days from 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, until 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3 while the move is made from its West Sixth Street location to its new 14,500-square feet facility on Armory Drive. The current library opened in 1967 with half of the $150,000 expense being paid by the estate of the late New York attorney Thomas P. deGraffenried. Theodosia Graham had been librarian for about 25 years at the first official location of the library in the old bank of Southern Kentucky. She became circulation librarian in the new building. The late Lillian Rhea Noe and Linda Kompanik, who died this year, had served as the librarian there allbut three years until this month when King Simpson was chosen to succeed his mentor, Mrs. Kompanik. According to library staff member Mark Griffin, books and movies checked out before the move do not have to be returned until the new library opens, although they can be placed in the dropbox. The Adairville and Auburn branches will remain open during January on their regular days.

Panthers & both Logan teams lose again

After Logan County’s and Todd County’s girls and boys teams along with the Russellville’s and Franklin-Simpson’s boys teams falling Tuesday, the seven teams in the 13thDistrict not named Lady Wildcats saw their out-of-district record fall to 0-23 on the season, and even the Franklin-Simpson girls lost. The Logan County Lady Cougars were beaten 73-57 by Glasgow, which hit six 3-pointers in the first quarter and 11 of 19 from long range. Neither LCHS team has won yet. Bre Glover scored 24, Emily Alexander16 and Shakila Smith 15 for Coach Justin Stinson’s Lady Scotties. The Cougars scored seven straight points to start the second quarter and built a 26-20 lead, but by halftime they were behind 46-35 on the way to an 86-68 loss. Ben Wright scored 20, Clint Knight 17 and Landon Stratton16 for the Cougars while Connor Glass scored 28 and Anthony Walker 23 for Coach John Tinsley’s Scotties. The Russellville Panthers’ record fell to 1-5 with a 62-53 loss at Allen County-Scottsville. Barrett Croslin scored 14, Lee McMurry 13 and Christian Naylor 10 in the loss. Dyllan Harper led the Patriots with 20 and Thomas Spencer added 19.

Minit Mart becomes TravelCenter Tuesday

Auburn Minit Mart will officially become part of TravelCenters of America Tuesday. Long-time Auburn Minit Mart manager Jeff Haley has confirmed that the ownership transfer becomes effective Dec. 17, but he says there has been no change in signage as yet. Customers won't be able to see a difference Tuesday, he told The LoJo. TravelCenters of America, which is based in the Cleveland, Ohio area and has outlets in 42 states, has bought the 31 Minit Marts from Bowling Green's Fred Higgins for a reported $67 million. TravelCenters bills itself as the largest "full service" truck stop chain in North America. The company was founded in 1972 by Thomas M. O'Brien.

Squeaky Hampton to enter RHS Hall of Fame

One of the most successful athletes in Russellville High School history will be inducted into the RHS Alumni Association Athletic Hall of Fame during the Clash of the Cats on Feb. 7.Maurice 'Squeaky' Hampton has been tabbed for the Hall for years, but he hasn't been able to be present for induction the past seven years because he has been playing professionally overseas. Hampton was a starting guard for the basketball Panthers for four years, two of them ending in the Final Four at state. After being a Kentucky All-Star, he played four years for Austin Peay State University, earning All-OVC honors and helping Coach Dave Loos' team reach the NCAA Tournament. He will be inducted by another former RHS and APSU star Bubba Wells, who is already in the Hall of Fame. Both played for Coach Phil Todd, also a former RHS and APSU standout.

Blakemore shines but Lovan stars in F-S win

Franklin-Simpson freshman Tavin Lovan put together a remarkable stat line against the visiting Logan County Cougars Friday. He scored 25 points on 8 of 10 shooting, including hitting all three of his 3-point attempts, and dropped in 6 of 7 free throws. Lovan also had 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists. After a dismal first half in which they scored only 15 points, Coach Lonnie Mason’s Cougars hit two-thirds of their shots (12 of 18) in the second half, but the Wildcats won 66-50. Evan Figert added 15 points for Coach Dee Spencer’s Wildcats. Lovan’s game overshadowed a breakout performance by the Cougars’ junior center, Taylor Blakemore, who had 16 rebounds, 14 points and 3 blocked shots. Landon Stratton scored 11 and Ben Wright 10 for the Cougars.

Panthers fall 77-58 to Butler County Bears

Zach Burden hit four 3-pointers on the way 22 points and Zeke Woodall had 23 points as the Butler County Bears beat Russellville 77-58 Saturday. Lee McMurry led the Panthers with 20 points, but then the scoring dropped to Pedro Rivera with 9, Christian Naylor & Jaylin McMurry with 8 each, Ricky Bellamy with 6 and Jason Mitchell with 5. The Panthers’ record fell to 1-4.

From Lewisburg Mayor Tina Callahan-Dye: "We have canceled the parade due to the rainy forecast. I have had several participants contact me with concerns. The reception after the parade is also canceled. Breakfast with Santa is still on!"

Panthers get first win at Todd Central

Despite not having their most experienced player and despite 40 points by Todd Central star Jon Michael Brown, Coach Phil Todd’s Russellville Panthers got their first win of the season Friday, beating the Rebels 79-76. Junior Lee McMurry scored 19 of his 20 points in the second half to lead RHS. Freshman Pedro Rivera added 17 and blocked several shots. Senior Christian Naylor, the only returning starter in the lineup, added 16, including 11 in the first half. Sophomore Ricky Bellamy had a breakout game, scoring 14 points before fouling. Russellville played without senior guard Barrett Croslin, who is in Louisville to play in a football all-star game. Treva Drayton scored 15 points for Coach Calvin Head’s Rebels, who fell to 0-2.

F-S, Todd keep local girls teams winless

Both girls basketball teams from the Land of Logan remained winless Friday, both on the season and in the district. Russellville led most of the way but fell 37-35 in overtime at Todd Central. Logan County trailed by 18 in a lackluster first half performance but came back to threaten Franklin-Simpson before losing 53-43. Freshman Markizjah Mimms led the Lady Rebels with 14 points, including four in OT. Jayde Robinson added 8 and Savannah Foster 7. Khalia Hampton scored Russellville’s first eight points as RHS led 12-11 at the half. She finished with 21 points before fouling out in the extra period. Davonna Sydnor scored 7 and Loreal Chaney 5. Meagan Lindsey topped the Lady Cougars with 11 points while Katelyn Jones & Kapreshia Powell scored 9 each. Coach Josh Matthews’ Lady Cats, who ran their record to 4-1, were led by Megan Krantz, Sydney Gooch & Keely Morrow.

District doubleheaders get underway tonight.

All four local teams play district games tonight, and parts of all of them will be aired on 610 WRUS. Zack Woodall & Ben Brown will call the Logan County at Franklin-Simpson boy-girl doubleheader while John Brett Reynolds & Chris McGinnis will air the Logan County at Todd Central twinbill. The games can also be heard on the WRUS website. Teams from RHS and LCHS are a combined 0-10 to start the season.

Farmers Christmas Market underway in Logan

The 10th annual Farmers' Market Christmas Market will be held today and Saturday at the Logan County Extension Office on the bypass. Crafts and homecooked foods will be sold by people who are vendors of fruits and vegetables during the summer. Many of the crafts are Christmas decorations. Among the vendors will be Elaine and Lindsay Turner, Wanda Grayson & Allie Robertson. Hours are 8-4 Friday and 8-2 Saturday. A complimentary lunch will be provided both days.

Singers to entertain with RHS Jazz Ensemble

Two well-known performers with local ties will perform with the Russellville High School Jazz Ensemble as a fund raiser for the RHS Band program. Chris Kramer, a local minister, and Rosemary Cundiff-Brown, a graduate of Logan County High School who lives in Louisville, will sing with the band, which is directed by Brian Brown. “A Merry Little Christmas Concert” will begin at deGraffenried Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Tickets will be $5 whether bought in advance or at the door.

Central beats Lady Cougars 62-40

Warren Central outscored Logan County in each quarter on the way to a 62-40 win Monday in Bowling Green. Katelyn Jones led the Lady Cougars with 10 points while Kapreshia Powell & Maegan Hardison each scored 9 for Coach Finley Woodard’s Lady Cougars. Tia Barnett scored 19 while eighth grader Zakora Hill added 13 and Lashae Halsel 11 for Coach Joe Hood’s Lady Dragons. Logan, which committed 15 turnovers in each half, visits Franklin-Simpson for a district doubleheader Friday.

Author to be at Country Angel Saturday

Because of last weekend's ice storm, author Melanie Meadow had to postpone "The Waking Up" book signing at Country Angel Gifts in Adairville. Meadow will be on hand this Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to sign copies of her new book. "The Waking Up" tells the story of the Logan County revivals through historical fiction. Also, store owner Nancy Watson is offering a $50 store gift certificate drawing that day.

Brockman expected to be bass fishing coach

\At tonight's meeting of the Logan County Board of Education, Sgt. Major Joe Brockman is expected to be officially named as coach of Logan County High School's newest team, bass fishing. Brockman, who is an instructor in the school's ROTC program, has been assisting Coach Michael Crawford on the softball team. A meeting of those interested in being part of the team will meet Wednesday at 5 p.m.

South edges Cougars in foul-plagued game

South Warren beat the Logan County Cougars 80-71 Monday in the Cougars' home opener. Ben Wright led Coach Lonnie Mason's Logan team with 18 points while Landon Stratton added 14, Clint Knight 11 and Garrison Rosser 10. The game was foul-plagued with four players being disqualified on each team.  J.R. Morrow, Taylor Blakemore, Tucker Baldwin & Wright all fouled out for LCHS. The Cougars lost at the line, hitting only 25 of 47 free throws, despite Wright dropping in 10 of 13. Knight was 6 of 14, Stratton 2 of 6, and Baldwin 1 of 4. South hit 25 of 36 foul shots. Austin Bybee scored 22 and Zach McDaniel 19 for the Spartans. Stratton had 4 assists for Logan. Baldwin led with 7 rebounds and added 3 assists.

King Simpson named Logan library director

King Simpson, who has been acting director of Logan County Public Library since the late Linda Kompanik took a leave of absence in April, was officially named director at a meeting of the board of directors Monday afternoon. Simpson has been with the library since 2002, not long after his graduation from Russellville High School. He is completing a degree in library science from the University of Kentucky, according to Board Vice President Tom Noe. Obie Van Cleave is board president, Jennifer Wilcutt secretary, Martha Davenport treasurer and Tracey Gilbert member.

Books To Go library conducting fund raisers

Books To Go library in Lewisburg is planning two events this weekend to raise funds for the library. On Friday from 6:30-9 p.m., J.L. Hickson will perform classic country hits and songs of the season at the old Lewisburg City Hall on Stacker Street. Admission is $3. Then Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., a Christmas bazaar will be held in the same building. A raffle will be conducted for a handmade quilt and a crocheted camo throw. Several vendors will have items for sale.

Concerned Citizens providing food, clothing

As Christmas approaches, Concerned Citizens of Russellville/Logan County has food and clothing to provide those who need extra help this time of year. Foods are available during daytime hours all week. On Friday, Feed the Children has provided clothing for giveaway, beginning at 8 a.m. upstairs at the KP Hall. Items will include small-medium-large jackets, knit tops, sweatshirts, denim, women’s gowns in extra large, boot heels in size 8 & 10 for women, and many baby items through 24 months. “This is the first time we’ve had clothing to give away, and I’m tickled it’s at Christmas,” says Executive Director Dorris Vick.

Greenwood edges Lady Cougars 46-43

Despite outscoring Greenwood 30-15 in the second half, the visiting Lady Cougars lost 46-43 Saturday afternoon in their season opener. That's because Logan managed only 13 points in the first half. Maegann Hardison led the Lady Cougars with a game-high 15 points. No one else was in double figures. Also scoring were Megan Lindsey, Brooke Barnes, Katelyn Jones, Madison Alvis, Kapreshia Powell & Taleia Mason. Greenwood was led by Lauren Maupin with 14 and Rose Mary Jackson with 12. Coach Finley Woodard's Lady Cougars return to action Monday at Warren Central.

Barren County at RHS for 4 p.m. twinbill

Barren County will come to Russellville today for a girl-boy doubleheader, but it will begin an hour earlier than scheduled, says RHS Athletic Director Nathan Thompson. This will be the home debut for new Lady Panther coach Justin McClellan, whose team lost its opener at Butler County. Coach Phil Todd's Panthers are 0-1 while Coach Warren Cunningham's Trojans won their opener against Green County. The girls' tipoff is at 4 p.m.

Lady Cougars to play at Greenwood today in 1st game for Finley Woodard as head coach

Logan County's Lady Cougars will play at Greenwood Saturday afternoon, but starting times have been moved up, according to Principal Casey Jaynes. Coach Jasmine Johnson's freshmen will tip off at 1, and Coach Zach Simpson's junior varsity squad will take the court at 2:30. The first-ever Logan game with Lady Cougar alum Finley Baird Woodard as head coach is expected to start at 4 p.m. One of the highest ranking recruiters for WKU students for many years, Woodard previously served as an assistant coach at Greenwood.

Logan game at Muhlenberg Saturday postponed

The Logan County Cougars' varsity/junior varsity doubleheader at Muhlenberg County Saturday has been indefinitely postponed, Principal Casey Jaynes announced Friday. The Spartans' game at Russellville Friday had been postponed earlier in the day. No announcement was made Friday on Coach Finley Woodard's scheduled game Saturday at Greenwood or Barren County's girl/boy doubleheader at Russellville the same evening.

RHS vs. Fort Campbell canceled tonight

Russellville's home doubleheader against Fort Campbell has been canceled for tonight, Athletic Director Nathan Thompson has announced. There's no word yet about Saturday's doubleheader with visiting Barren County. Coach Justin McClellan’s Lady Panthers are scheduled to tip off that one at 5 p.m. Saturday with Coach Phil Todd's Panthers to meet the Trojans afterwards.

Daymar College ribbon cutting postponed

Because of weather problems, Daymar College has chosen to delay the ribbon cutting celebrating its new Russellville location until after the holidays, according to Lisa Browning, executive director of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce. The college is now located in the shopping center with Mighty Dollar, Radio Shack, Hibbit's, etc. near Wal-Mart.

City, county & Todd schools dismissed Friday

Logan County, Russellville and Todd County schools are all dismissed Friday because of the threat of bad weather. City Superintendent Leon Smith explained his decision: “There will be no school in Russellville Independent Schools on Friday, Dec. 6. The National Weather Service advised us that freezing rain may move into the area at noon on Friday. For the safety of our students and staff we feel it is better to err on the side of safety, since freezing rain is so dangerous. We may miss the call on this one but hopefully everyone will be safe as a result.”

Basketball games postponed because of weather

Basketball games have been either canceled or postponed this weekend because of concerns about the weather. Russellville Principal Kim McDaniel has announced that the Panthers' home game against highly regarded Hopkinsville is off because the "Christian County School System has canceled all extracurricular events for tonight." Meanwhile Logan County Athletic Director Hugh McReynolds says, "The Logan County - Todd County GV-BV basketball games originally scheduled for Friday were canceled and have been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 17."

Panthers fall to Muhlenberg in season opener

Visiting Muhlenberg County added to its lead each quarter on the way to an 80-66 win over the Russellville Panthers Tuesday in a game carried on WRUS. Senior Zach Tarter scored 12 of his 26 points for Coach Tony Hopper’s Mustangs in the first quarter, and junior point guard Hunter Nofsinger added 23 for the Suns with Kaleb Rolley scoring 13. Coach Phil Todd got 20 points from Lee McMurry, 13 from Barrett Croslin, 11 from Christian Naylor and eight each from freshmen starters Micah Naylor & Pedro Rivera. The Panthers, who entertain powerful Hopkinsville Thursday, are without starting point guard Coco Darden, who is still bothered by a knee injury.

Chamber to conduct trio of ribbon cuttings

Ribbon cuttings will be conducted the next three days by the Logan County Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday it will be at Yates Pharmacy, formerly Nations’ Medicine, 432 Hopkinsville Road, at noon. Scott Yates, who has been a pharmacist at the drug store, and his wife Beth have purchased the business from Mike Harris. Thursday’s ribbon cutting will be at Price Less IGA, in the former location of Sav-a-lot, 113 Armory Drive, at 10 a.m. Friday a formal opening will be held at the new location of Daymar College in the Shoppes at Russellville, 206 Sam Walton Way at 11 a.m. The public is invited.

East edges visiting Cougars in opener

Warren East made a steal and hit a layup with a second remaining to edge visiting Logan County 68-66 in the season opener for both boys teams Monday. The Cougars made 23 turnovers, 14 of them by the big men. Ben Wright had 20 points, thanks to 8 of 8 free throw shooting, and he added 10 rebounds for Coach Lonnie Mason’s Cougars. Clint Knight scored 17 points and Landon Stratton 16. Center Taylor Blakemore pulled down 10 rebounds before fouling out. J.R. Morrow, Garrison Rosser & Tucker Baldwin each had 3 assists. Dylan Whitney scored 19,Raymond Green 17 and Brandon Walker 13 for Coach Casey Simpson’s Raiders. Marquis Jones had 10 rebounds, leading East to a 45-33 rebounding margin.

Christmas events planned at Schochoh today

The annual Schochoh Christmas Parade, which was begun in the 1990s by the late James Harve Smith, will begin at 2 p.m. Floats, farm vehicles and animals in a country setting make this a unique parade. Afterwards, a Candlelight Christmas Service will be held just down the road at the Red River Meeting House with dulcimer music by Steve and Joyce Vann. Light refreshments will be served. It's scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
