Estes elected regional FFA president, others earn honors

On March 27 the Logan County FFA participated in the Regional Paperwork Contest at WKU, along with Regional/ State Officer Elections.  Students put a lot of time into making their Proficiencies the best they can.

Wesley Estes was elected Regional President for the 2014-2015 year. Katilynn Brown is in the finals for Star Ag Business, and Thomas Poole is in the finals for Star Placement.  Zach Brinkley, Paige Brown, Kailee Moore, and Andrew Milam were part of the record keeping team that earned second in the region.

The first place winners from that day were: 

Diversified Crop Production- Adam Wright

Grain Production Entrepreneur- Adam Wright

Emerging Agriculture Tech- Alex Hughes

Fiber and/or Oil Production- Alex Hughes

Home and/or Community Development- Jessica Brown

Agriscience Research Plant Systems- Ashley Brinkley

Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management- Wesley Estes

Diversified Livestock Placement- Monica Nolan

Swine Placement- Kelly Eicher

Swine Production Entrepreneur- Elizabeth Vanzee

Equine Science- Kelly Eicher

Ag Mechanics Repair and Maintenance Entrepreneur- Wesley Hadden 

All of these students have done a fantastic job this year.
