Robbie Davis was named the new principal of Chandlers School on Monday. She was selected by the Site-Based Decision Making Council to replace Caycee Spears, who recently accepted the position of principal at Logan County High School.

Davis has served as the assistant principal at Chandlers since 2013. Prior to that role, she spent 10 years at Logan County High School as a teacher and guidance counselor. She is a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. She completed her Master’s and Rank I in School Counseling from WKU and then later completed her administrative certification at the University of the Cumberlands.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve the outstanding staff and students of Chandlers School in this role,” Davis said. “My parents are graduates of this school, and my children attend there now. I am honored to continue our family’s Chandlers tradition.”

“Mrs. Davis, as principal, brings to Chandlers her enthusiasm in wanting what is best for our students and staff.  She has goals to see our school move forward academically and we are excited to be part of the Chandlers family with Mrs. Davis as our Principal,” said the members of the SBDM Council.

Dr. Kevin Hub, superintendent of Logan County Schools, who chaired the council during the selection process said “the culture at Chandlers is one of the most positive and inviting in our district. We are confident that Mrs. Davis is the clear choice to maintain and improve upon what’s an already exciting place to work and learn. Her ability to relate to the parents and students in the Chandlers community make her the clear choice.”

Davis lives on her family’s farm in the Browning community with her husband, Corey, and their two children, Eli and Ashby.
