Crews have battled throughout the night and all day today to clear roads following a winter storm which left district covered in about 2 inches of snow.

Most A priority routes in most counties are in good shape. They may not be completely clear, but are continuing to improve. Some B and C priority routes are in good shape, but some are not. Crews are continuing to work as fast as they can to get the roadways clear following Wednesday morning's early ice and snow that has shut down Logan and Beyond.

Photos have been uploaded to the District 3 Facebook Page and Twitter account. Motorists should check road conditions and forecast before departing. The KY 511 website or smartphone app is a great resource to check out road conditions.
