The 2016 Kentucky-Tennessee Grain Day will be held Friday, Jan. 29, from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Logan County Extension Office.
Scheduled to speak are the following:
Dr. Larry Steckel, a University of Tennessee Plant Science, on “Herbicide Resistance and Weed Control Update”
Curtis Dame, University of Kentucky Extension Agent, on “Agriculture Cell Phone Apps and Technology”
Dr. Forbes Walker, UT Biosystems Engineering/Soil Science, on “Best Management Practices to Increase Nutrient Efficiency”
Dr. Carl Bradley, UK Plant Pathologist, on “Soybean, Corn and Wheat Diseases and Control”
Dr. Todd Davis, UK Ag Economist, with a Grain Marketing Update
A trade show will be open until 1:20 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Knuckles Insurance Company.
CCA and Commercial Pesticide CEUs will be available.
