Just like last week, this weekend is slated to be one of the busiest of the year in the Land of Logan. Unlike a week ago, the weather forecast is
mostly favorable for outdoor activities.
Highlights include the culmination of the 65th Adairville Strawberry Festival, the Spring Antiques and Garden Market at Shakertown, the
Fallen Heroes Ride honoring the member of the late Cpl. Josh Moore, and Russellville High School’s three-performances of Beauty and the Beast.
Downtown Adairville will be filled with activities all day Friday and Saturday. Highlights include the Kiddie Parade and Pets on Parade Friday night
and the pancake breakfast, Jackson-Dickinson Duel Reenactment, and the parade Saturday, but something will be going on any time people arrive with lots
of music, dancing, games, rides food and vendors.
The fifth annual Fallen Heroes Ride will be held Saturday, beginning with registration at 8 a.m. at the American Legion Post in Russellville .A $10
donation is requested for each motorcycle or vehicle with all proceeds being given to the Josh Moore Scholarship Fund. PFC Moore, a graduate of Logan
County High School, lost his wife while serving in Iraq. The ride will start at 9:30 and go through Lewisburg, throughout Todd County, on to Fairview
on the Todd-Christian County line and back to the Legion. Mementoes and food will be available.
Russellville students will perform Beauty and the Beast, a stage musical based on the 1991 Disney movie, at deGraffenried Auditorium Friday and
Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. John Corum portrays the Beast and Sarah Fox is the Beauty, Belle, in the large cast directed by RHS band
director Brian Brown.
The second Spring Antiques & Garden Market at Shakertown at South Union will be held Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $5 for people to shop
booths of antiques, plants and flowers and garden art in and around the 1875 Grain Barn. Informative presentations will be held throughout the day in
the Speakers Tent. Brickyard Café will be serving a diverse lunch menu on site.

Each weekend during the month of May, Trade Days will be held at Lewisburg’s McKinney Park. All vendors are invited to set-up and sell their wares on
Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.. All spaces available are 20’X20’. There is a set-up fee for the booths: $10 per day or $15 for the
weekend or the best deal $50 for all four weekends!! Please call Lewisburg City Hall 755-4828 if you have questions or wish to set-up.

Year-ending programs for Russellville Christian School students will be held Friday at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ, beginning at 6 p.m.
The church will host a reception for the students and parents afterwards in the Fellowship Hall. Sharon McIntosh heads the school.
The Russellville 8th Grade Trip is scheduled for Friday. This group will be visiting the Beech Bend Amusement Park in Bowling Green.
A Senior Awards Program will begin Saturday at 6 p.m. at Logan County High School.
