Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will honor 736 candidates receiving 2,278 credentials (certificates, diplomas, and degrees) at the College’s Commencement Ceremonies on Friday, May 4. The ceremonies will be held at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC).

The keynote speaker for this year’s ceremonies will be Representative Jody Richards of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

This year, the college will host two ceremonies. The first event beginning at 4 p.m. is for graduates of the Arts & Humanities and Business Divisions. The second event beginning at 7 p.m. will honor graduates of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Allied Health & Nursing, and Mathematics & Sciences Divisions.

"We honor each of our graduates for the hard work they have put forth to achieve their career goals. We also pay tribute to the family and friends for their great support to the graduates, as well as to the faculty and staff of SKYCTC for their commitment to student success," states SKYCTC President Dr. Phillip Neal.

SKYCTC graduates are well-prepared for the next step in their journey. Many have already obtained employment at area healthcare facilities, businesses, industries, and organizations throughout Southcentral Kentucky. Some graduates are also prepared to transfer to four-year universities and achieve academic success while pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
