LCHS Raiders place fourth in JROTC nationals

Capping a great competitive season, the Logan County JROTC Raiders placed fourth in national competition in Georgia in the Rope Bridge event this weekend.

The Rope Bridge team members are Thomas Coonts, Eli Brown, Riley Wharton, Gracie Richey, Jenna Blythe, Jacob Orndorff, Alyssa Garett. Hunter Hadden, Adam Parnell and Desirae Reinitz.

Others who competed at nationals were Natalie Berry, Emma Richey, Hunter Garrett, Jo Nolan, Colby Snoddy, Kainin Thomas, Robert Lewis, Bennie Guzman and Remi Stone.

The seniors, who are shown above, are, from left, front row, Jo Nolan ad Desirae Reinitz; back row, LTC Mike Triplett, Riley Wharton, Thomas Coonts, Robert Lewis and SGM Joe Brockman.

Wharton and Blythe (shown below) competed in the Ultimate Raider event.
