The homestanding Russellville Lady Panthers and the Logan County Cougars won their divisions of a quadrangular track meet at the RHS track Tuesday, May 11, in competition with Todd Central and Franklin-Simpson.

Coach Matt Tipton's Lady Panthers scored 49 with the Lady Cougars at 40, Todd 31 and F-S 16. Freshman Amber Sydnor led the winners with first places in both hurdles events and joining Passion Townsend, Davonn Sydnor and Karmesha Rose in winning the 4x200 Relay. Townsend also had a first in the long jump. Markita Pheal, Molly Wharton and the relay team of Kelsey Markham, Brittany Harper, Claire Hopkins and Ashley Munday won the 4x400.

Coach Greg Howard's Cougars scored 89 points, 18 more than the Panthers. Franklin had 34 points and the Rebels 24. Reuben Rawlings-Watson won two events while Sye Head, Timo Danz and Noah Thomas each won an individual event and a relay. Avery Collier and Tim Carpenter each won an event and Barrett Rogers was on the winning 4x800 relay team.

Victor Hampton led the Panthers by winning the high jump and running on three first-place relay teams. Quinton Calloway got the triple jump while Devonta Bryant, Demarcus Hampton, Travez Hampton and Antonio Todd were on two winning relays and Isaiah Ramsey on another.
