Russellville High School is proud to announce that Thursday, May 2, at 4:30 p.m. in the RHS Library, Mia DeVinney, Dakota Marc, and Makayla Davis will be signing their letter of intent to cheer at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg.

“We are extremely proud of these young athletes,” says Athletic Director Kyle Yates. “They have worked hard, and that hard work has paid off and is giving them an opportunity to do what they love at the next level.”

Coach BeverlyYork on her athletes: “It is always an exciting and proud day when one of your team is getting signed to a college. This year we have three going to the same school. Mia, Dakota, and Makayla have all been recruited to cheer at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg.  This is a new school that has lots of exciting things going for them. To be in a ground-breaking event and to be a part of the team that will set the standards in which others after them will reach is a great accomplishment.

“All three girls excel academically and take pride in their school. They each perform well whether cheering for a game or in a competition. These young ladies will do their part to make their team successful. I am proud to have been their coach and look forward to seeing how far they each go in the future.”

Yates adds, “Please join us as we celebrate these young ladies’ accomplishments and the beginning of their next step, academically and athletically.:
