Oakland Volleyball Head Coach Rob Beam announced Tuesday the addition of transfer Kerra Cornist of Logan County to the team.

"I am thrilled to announce the signing of Kerra Cornist as our newest Golden Grizzly," said Beam. "She is a dynamic athlete with elite-level quickness and jumping ability. Importantly, she was a key contributor at Evansville and in the Missouri Valley Conference and will immediately be a force in our program. She is also an outstanding woman and will exemplify what is best about our student-athletes."

"Including our fall and mid-year enrollees, our 2019 class is one of the best we have ever had," said Beam. "When we combine them with our returning group that gained valuable experience last year, we have everything we need to be successful at a high level."
