Russellville High School is proud to announce that Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the R21C Center, Bam Ray will be signing her letter of intent to play Softball at Vol State.

Bam Ray is a senior at Russellville High School and was an overall athlete for us. She has been a major contributor for soccer, basketball, and softball. Bam is seen as a great leader in all the activities that she participates in. She is an outstanding young athlete that wants to be the best in everything that she does. One of the biggest things that we will miss about Bam is her presence and leadership. Our younger athletes will have some big shoes to fill as she goes on to the next level.

Coach Ryan Davenport on Bam: This is an exciting day for Bam, her family, and the Russellville Softball Program. Bam is the second  Russellville softball player to sign and play at the collegiate level, with Mary Lynn Kisselbaugh the first. Bam plays the game with passion like no other. She's been a great leader on and off the field and has helped lead our team to the most wins in program history. Bam has helped lead us to 39 wins the past two years, hitting over .450 and belting 12 homeruns. During the 2019 season Bam made the 13th district all district team, 4th region all region team honorable mention, Western Kentucky High School All-star team, and the Kentucky All-Star team. Bam’s bright and humorous personality has brought a lot of joy and excitement to the Russellville softball program for many years. We will miss her but we are extremely proud of her and look forward to seeing what her future holds. #Pantherpride #NobodyBetter

Please join us as we celebrate Bam’s accomplishments and the beginning of her next step, academically and athletically.
