Girls Basketball - The Lady Cougars defeated Todd County Central this weekend 62-34 and locked down the #1 seed in the upcoming 13th District Tournament with a perfect district record of 6-0. Lady Cougars now stand at 11-13 overall.

The Lady Cougars Freshman and JV will face off with Greenwood at home tonight starting at 6:00pm.

The Varsity will play host to the Lady Gators on Tuesday at the Logan County Gym starting at 6 p.m. Congrats to the Lady Cougars and coaches.

Boys Basketball - The Cougars have also locked up the #1 seed in the district and also tout a 6-0 record in district play. The Cougars defeated Todd County over the weekend 81-45. The Cougars are 21-3 overall, 12-0 in the region and 6-0 in district play.

Boys Varsity will play host to the Gators of Greenwood tomorrow night immediately following the Girls game. Congrats, coaches and players.

There are just two weeks left in the regular season. This Saturday, Feb. 15, both varsity teams will host Allen County Scottsville. The girls game will start at 4 p.m. followed by the boys game. This will be SENIOR NIGHT. Please come out and recognize all of our seniors this Saturday afternoon.

Cheerleaders - Our Cheerleaders earned a bid to compete at the UCA National Cheerleading Championships in Florida over the weekend. I'm excited to report our cheer squad not only qualified for the semifinals for the first time but also placed 13th in the nation! Congratulations to these young ladies and their coaches! Job well done.

Boys Middle School Basketball - Our boys competed in the State Middle School Basketball Championships this weekend in Lexington. The young Cougars fought hard and finished 45th. There were a total of 94 teams playing. The Cougars were beaten on a last-second 30-footer that would have moved them up into the top 32 bracket. Not bad for our young kids from Logan County playing ALL together in their first year. What a year! Congrats to all the players and coaches.

Everywhere you look you see tremendous effort by our student-athletes and coaches. Thanks to all the parent and fan support as these teams strive for greatness. With ALL of us working together, great things can and will happen.

Can't wait to see our basketball teams playing for District, Regional, and State Championships!

Another great week to be a Cougar! Come out and support your favorite team.
