Posted on June 1, 2020 6:18 PM

Sports physicals will be conducted June17 at the Logan County Career and Technical Center (new trade school) at LCHS from 4-7 p.m. This is student-athletes in both the Russellville and Logan County schools.

Sports Physicals Guidelines:

- All student athletes will be required to wear a mask during physicals, we will not be able to provide masks to all students but will have some available for those in need. Please bring your own mask if at all possible.

- All student athletes will be screened upon arrival, their temperature will be taken and they will be asked a series of questions. If you are feeling ill the day of, please do not come to sports physicals.

- Only the student athlete will be allowed to leave their vehicle, parents/guardians will be asked to wait outside while we rotate each student through a series of stations.

Sports Physicals will be station based and stations will be separated to allow as much space as possible between stations. Multiple volunteers at each station will be a minimum of 6ft apart and are as follows:

Registration/COVID 19 Screening
Height/Weight
Blood Pressure/Heart Rate
Vision exam
Musculoskeletal screen
Physician Exam

These will be first come, first serve but if you have a large group expected from one sport we will need to plan around that to minimize wait times. We expect there will be a wait due to distancing at each station and we will move student athletes through as quickly as possible once their registration is complete.
