Coach Josh Hall’s Auburn volleyball team was undefeated at 10-0 entering the Logan County Middle School Turnament. They had a very experienced lineup with seven 8th graders, including 4-year veterans Adriana Hinojoza, Chandler Larson, Holly Looper and Kapreshia Powell.

After receiving a bye as the #1 seed, they first defeated Olmstead 25-16, 25-21. They were then given their first defeat of the season by Chandlers, led by a very good 7th grader in Chanler Steenbergen, 24-26, 25-22, 8-15. As a result, they had to return the next night and play through the loser’s bracket and would have to beat Chandlers twice to take the championship. First though, they defeated Olmstead again 25-16, 25-17.

Auburn came back strong against Chandlers, defeating the Lady Bears 25-18, 25-17 in the first match and 25-9, 26-24 in the championship match.
