Now is the time to try to become part of Logan County sports teams in the near future. Tryouts and signups are scheduled.

Any Logan County student who will be in grades 7-12 next year and is interested in playing golf (7th-12th grades) next season is asked to be at Rolling Hills Golf Course on Saturday, May 6, at noon.

Coach Will Rosser says, “If you want to play for the Cougars or Lady Cougars and can’t make it, please call md @ 270 893 2922.”

Logan County Middle School Cheer Tryouts will be held this Monday and Tuesday, April 24 and 25, at Logan County High Schools. Monday’s times are 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday’s 5-7. This is for those who will be students in the sixth through eighth grades this fall in a school in the Logan County System. Proof of a current physical is required.

A basketball team will represent the Logan County Middle School Cougars this summer. It’s for boys who will be in grades 6-8 next year. A new set of tryouts will be held for the winter team later. These tryouts will be held May 18 and 19 from 5-6:30 at LCHS. Again, proof of a physical is required.

Adairville is offering Junior Pro Football and Cheerleading this fall. Three signup dates remain—May 6 and 13 and June 3. They will be held at the Adairville Community Park from 2-4 p.m. each of those days.
