Several Logan County runners traveled to Yellow Creek Park outside Owensboro to compete in the Daviess County Invitational on Oct. 5. “Fantastic running weather and hot competition produced some of the better performances from the team year to date,” says Coach Frank Boone.

Logan did especially well in the younger divisions with every Cougar and Lady Cougar below varsity level finishing in the top half of their competitors.

Leading the way was Abel Connelly, who finished eighth among 47 boys in the elementary group with a time that bested his only personal record by 18 seconds.
