A total of 53 Logan County High School football players saw action in varsity games during 2024 season, several of them recording impressive statistics. Almost exactly half of them (26) were freshmen and sophomores.

The 5-7 season marked an end to the program’s seven straight winning seasons, but Coach Todd Adler’s team found a way to reach the Class 4A playoffs for the eighth straight year.

State 4A champion Paducah Tilghman is in the Cougars’ district, and Class 5A state semifinalist South Warren was also one of their opponents.
