Russellville High school has named Cameron Kisselbaugh as the new Head Boys Soccer Coach, Cameron Kisselbaugh. He has been coaching the middle school soccer team.

"I am incredibly excited and honored to step into the role of Head Coach for the RHS Boys Soccer program,” Kisselbaugh says. “As a proud alumnus of RISD and a former RHS Boys Soccer player, I hold this program in a special place in my heart. I know firsthand the passion, discipline, and dedication it takes to build something special, and I am committed to bringing that same energy to the next generation of players.”

Also a former Panther tennis player, Kisselbaugh is the District Gifted and Talented Coordinator. He is the son of Morris Lynn and Jane Kisselbaugh. Morris was an outstanding basketball player for the Panthers. Cameron and his wife Katie have a young son, Atticus.

Cameron succeeds Jeramy Rust as head coach. Rust has coached the Soccer Panthers the past nine seasons but now will concentrate on building Russellville’s first wrestling program.

Kisselbaugh says, “Having played under Coach Tom Thompson during my time at RHS, it is my goal to carry on that legacy instilling a relentless work ethic, accountability, strong character, and a deep sense of pride in representing RHS."

The Panthers had a 10-12 record last year with a very young squad, most of whom had played under Kisselbaugh’s middle school coaching. They included freshmen Braxton Coleman, Mason Davenport, Carsen Farmer, Eli Fillin, Charles Graves, Aiden Jayne, Domitrie Martin, and Ethan Mayhew, and sophomores Immanuel Clayton, Trevon Covington, JaCoveon Temple-Dickerson and Diego Vera. Many of them were part of a district middle school championship in 2023.
