RHS Lady Panther tennis edges LCHS

With the top two players—Heer Patel and Ella Kate Parrish—leading the way, Russellville girls tennis needed one more player to come through to secure a team win. They found her in number three player Olivia Sayne.

Patel, Parrish and Sayne won the top three singles matches, and the doubles team of Patel and Parrish won their match to secure a 4-3 win over Logan County last week.

Getting wins for the Lady Cougars were number four player Piper Kirby and number five Carly Webster along with the number two doubles team of Kirby and Madi Ashby.

Patrick Richardson, who was part of a Russellville tennis playing family along with his sister Dana at RHS, is the new Lady Panther tennis coach.
