The Bowling Green Hornets will play their second home game of the year tonight when they entertain the St. Louis Hawks at Russellville’s Jim Young Gymnasium at 7 p.m. Coach Otis Key’s team won last Friday over the Dayton Air Strikers before losing on the road at St. Louis on Saturday.
Owner Waseem Moorad has made the following announcements about Friday’s game:
1. Vic Moses, despite the current interest from the Cincinnati Bengals, will be playing tonight.
2. New faces for tonight's game include Brandon Stockton (University of Kentucky) and D.J. Washington (Kentucky State University)
3. Out for tonight's game include Zamarius McClendon (Tennessee Wesleyan), Dazmond Starke (Kentucky Wesleyan), and Andrae Woodard (Thomas Moore College).
Also, the Hornets will be sponsoring "Givin Back Night” where the Hornets have contributed to the foundation. Coach Jae Allison of Givn’ Back will conduct the halftime festivities by allowing the kids of his organization to show off their basketball skills to the community.
“Should be a fun night!” Moorad says.
