One of the longest-running rivalries in college basketball is renewed for the 151st time Saturday afternoon, as WKU and Murray State face off at E.A. Diddle Arena at 1 p.m.

The Hilltoppers lead the all-time series between the two former Ohio Valley Conference foes 97-53, including a 58-13 advantage in Bowling Green, since the first meeting came on Jan. 25, 1932. Since 2000, eight of 11 meetings have been decided by fewer than 12 points.

Murray State has won four of the last five matchups in the series, and the Racers return six letterwinners from last season’s squad that defeated WKU in Murray, 75-70.

A WKU win on Saturday would give the Hilltoppers seven victories before Christmas for the second-straight season and just the second time in the last five years.

Saturday's game will be televised by the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network, airing nationally on ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court and regionally on WKU PBS in the Bowling Green area and WBNA in Louisville. It will be broadcast on the radio on the Hilltopper IMG Sports Network, airing locally in Bowling Green on WKLX-FM Sam 100.7.
