Russellville High School senior Rashawn Jones has signed a letter of intent to play football at Kentucky Wesleyan College. Jones played offensive guard and linebacker/defensive line this past season.

He was a three-year starter for the Panthers and played a pivotal role on this past year’s 10-3, regional runner-up team.  He is being recruited to play linebacker and defensive end at KWC, which is an NCAA Division II school located in Owensboro.

“Rashawn is a tremendous young man with a super work ethic. He was a lot of fun to coach. I am very proud of this decision by Rashawn and look forward to seeing him progress at the next level,” says Coach John Myers. “I am confident he will represent RHS positively at KWC.”

He is the son of Bruce and Crystal Jones and Carrie and Antonia Ruffin.
