Ag Day was held at Stevenson Elementary School Friday, Oct. 3, and the school system’s public information director, Donna Brown Wilkerson, says it was a success.

Among those involved were Leann Martin, Rachel Hance, and Gary Michael Templeman from the Logan County UK Ag Cooperative Extension Office; Tom and Pa Ennis, Hutson Ag, Lee Blythe of H&R Agripower and Federal Grove Bed and Breakfast, Dream Riders, Wesley Wright of the U.S. Soil Conservation Service, Chris Milam of Milam Cattle Company and Kentucky Down Under.

Teachers involved included Elaine Blythe, Jennie Blake, Shelley Greene and Carrie Shanklin.

Transportation Director John Myers and other bus drivers oversaw the drivers who carried students to the track area on the grounds of Russellville High School for sheep herding demonstrations.
