Senior baseball player Matt Harper and junior softball player Meagan Ferguson have been honored as March Athletes of the Month at Logan County High School.

In announcing Ferguson’s award, Coach Michael Crawford said: “Meagan Ferguson- 11th grade, 4.13 GPA- Pitcher/Second Base – Meagan is young lady who is very active in many activities. She is a very active member of her church youth group and babysits children during her spare time. Meagan conducts activity camps for kids while she is babysitting. Meagan is also very active at school participating in many clubs. Meagan is a valuable member of the Logan County Softball Team. She is currently has two wins and a 3.391 ERA. She also is hitting .339 with an on-base percentage of .367. Meagan also has a fielding percentage of .930. She has been a very quiet but effective leader who tries to lead by example and works extra hard taking pitching lessons each week. Meagan currently has a 4.13 GPA and is currently ranked first out of 257 as a junior.”

About Harper, Coach Ethan Meguiar said: “Baseball: Matt Harper 12 Grade, 4.0 GPA. Senior Captain of the Baseball team, 4.0 GPA class rank of 17 of 236. Great kid and one of our best players.”
