Russellville basketball standout DeAndre ‘Pedro’ Bradshaw is not only playing well on the spring AAU basketball tour, but he’s also attracting scholarship offers and interest from a large number of colleges and universities.

Playing for Hoop Dreams 17’s Gold team, he’s averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds per game.

During his junior season as a Panther, he finished fifth in the state in rebounding at 12.2 per game. He also averaged 21.1 points per game for Coach Phil Todd’s team. He shot 77 percent from the foul line and 57.6 percent from the field. Additionally, he totaled 100 assists, 43 steals and 38 blocks.

He has been invited to participate in the NPPA Top 100 Camp at the University of Virginia this summer.

Bradshaw has already received firm scholarship offers from a number of schools, including perennial NCAA Tournament participant Belmont University. Among those making offers are Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay, Southern Illinois Edwardsville, Tennessee Tech and UT-Chattanooga.

Several other universities are showing interest, including one from a major five conference, Kansas State of the Big 12.

RHS Assistant Coach Ryan Davenport has been helping him during the recruitment period. Davenport has released a video coaches are seeing. It can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd-x6W6ly4c&app=desktop.
