Audrey Hagens is a student at Logan County High School
The crisp morning air was carried on a light breeze, high hopes and determination drifted through the morning sky. It was an early Saturday morning; the world was quiet. That is until the cross country runners awoke, and with them their high spirits.
Sept. 3was a good day for many; running in a meet hosted by Franklin-Simpson High School, the varsity boys placed second, and Alyssa Hewitt, first-time middle school runner, broke the school record for a 3K, while also placing ninth.
Everyone did amazing, they gave it their all and stayed strong. Our Logan County Cougars performed with excellence, much like Malcom Reynolds in “Shindig.”
