Since their inception in 2009, the Bowling Green Hot Rods have cast themselves as one of the most creative entertainment outlets in all of Minor League Baseball, using Bowling Green Ballpark as the centerpiece venue in creating a top-notch family-friendly experience.

That experience is about to get even better. Sixteen times better.

The seventh-year Class-A Midwest League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays has announced the addition of a new 28-foot wide, 16-horse carousel to Bowling Green Ballpark, sponsored by Graves Gilbert Clinic.

“This investment will make Bowling Green ballpark the best family entertainment value in South Central Kentucky,” said Hot Rods general manager/COO Adam Nuse. “We are constantly looking for ways to improve our atmosphere, and we are confident that adding the carousel will appeal to a broad audience.”

Estimated arrival date for the carousel is May 22 and will be placed on the right-field side of the concourse next to Axel’s Adventureland.

“We’re excited to bring a little extra fun for our children to Bowling Green Ballpark,” said Chris Thorn, CEO of Graves Gilbert Clinic. “Hot Rods baseball has given our community such a positive boost, and we hope our Family Fun Center will make families’ experiences at the ballpark that much more special.”
