May 13 is the beginning of the final term for Logan County Adult Education for this fiscal year. If you have been putting off earning your GED, here is a great opportunity. Classes begin Monday, May 13, and are available days and evenings. Pre-enrollment screenings can be conducted.
In addition to offering all classes and study material for free, the LCAE staff has collected several prizes for attendance and performance awards. What does it takes to win? Enroll in classes, enjoy the benefits of the fine teaching staff and gain the knowledge to pass the GED exam. Also, there will be additional free opportunities later this month.
There has been quite a bit of publicity about the change in the GED test. Kentucky Adult Education is working to align the entire state curriculum and core content to meet the new test standards. These new standards will go into effect January 2014. Beginning in August, Logan County Adult Education will be instructing the new curriculum along with the existing curriculum. However, the May/June Session is strictly the existing curriculum. Now is the chance to Git ‘Er Done, Your GED.
To enroll in classes, please call Logan County Adult Education at 270-726-8777 to set up an orientation appointment or visit our Professional Learning Center at 121 South Spring Street in Russellville.
